On October 7 – 10, 2019, thousands of service business professionals will gather at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston for the WorkWave User Conference and IFS World Conference. The 13th annual WorkWave User Conference, which is combined with the IFS World Conference for the first time this year, will unite WorkWave customers with business professionals in all industries and sizes from around the globe for an empowering and engaging conference. Based on last year’s success, one of the many educational events at the conference is the PestPac Bootcamp. Bootcamp is an immersive learning experience that focuses on the ins and outs of WorkWave PestPac.

• Fundamentals for setting up lookup tables, company setup, and adding customers.

• Reviewing processes and best practices for generating, scheduling, and printing service orders and appointment lists for technicians, as well as setting up notifications.
• How to post service orders and using automated emails for faster invoicing and payments.
• A variety of payment scenarios, the process for payment entry, and related reports.
• Mastering the steps to correct accounting transactions that may have been entered incorrectly.

The WorkWave User Conference is always such a fun time!  Client interaction is what I love to see!  

What are some of the “hidden gems” of PestPac?

My go-to PestPac party trick is to enter ‘t’ in any date field.  It puts today’s date in that field! I remember learning this about eight years in and my mind was blown.  So I always try to share that knowledge when I can.

I have the most handsome rescue dog named Jasper.

I’m most excited to network with our customers and partners at this year’s User Conference in Boston. I love taking advantage of breakthrough technology to work with others in the industry on a day-to-day basis, but nothing beats getting real face-time with them. Bootcamp was a huge hit last year – this year we are going to make it even more interactive, engaging, and informative!

PestPac is incredibly modular by design. It’s robust and scalable enough to empower small businesses to our most enterprise users.

I’ve been a musician for 20 years and fortunate enough to work with several amateur and professional musicians across the world.
